Report

All year the Day Meeting turn outs have been good and the Annual Laleham Christmas event was no exception with 39 BA Golf members playing in the 18 hole competition, with a full monty breakfast to get us going. Our Captain Richard Collard has done very well with the weather for virtually every event we've had this year and again we had good weather with a sunny, cold start to the day which remained dry.

The Laleham course was in fine condition for the time of year and most members scored 30 or more stableford points. Two of our newer members Mike Broad and Clive jones did best on the day with 38 points, Mike winning on countback. Roger Woof and Adrian Meredith were just behind in 3rd and 4th places respectfully with 37 points and 4 other golfers just behind with 'par' scores of 36.

As usual Laleham Golf Club made us feel welcome and prepared an excellent evening carvery meal with the usual Christmas fayre, followed by the usual banter as the prizes are handed out by the Captain.
